Hello fellow members,

I recently ordered a HotShot ceramic-coated cold air intake for the '03 Hyundai Tiburon I4 directly from Hot Shot performance. www.hotshot.com

For those interested in a superb cold air intake for your 2.0L I4 engine, please read the following information as stated from HotShot themselves:

In regards to the I4 cold air intake, production is complete. Cost on these systems is
$215 (plus shipping, plus tax in CA). Included in this kit are the Hotshot ceramic-coated induction tubes, 3-ply couplers, silicone lines, and a high-flow SPW filter. As for the v6, these are still unavailable. The cold air intake may be ordered without filter for a price of $195 (plus shipping, plus tax in CA).

It is ceramic-coated to reduce heat sink into the metal intake pipe in addition to providing a durable and long-lasting finish. Not to mention, the intakes cost just as much as Injen and AEM however those are not ceramic-coated.

Group buys are not available directly from HotShot however you may order at MSRP price from HotShot directly. In addition, members have the ability to request a group buy on this product from any of HotShot's dealers...for example Road Race Motorsports or especially Fixer.

Happy modding!

So thats what they were doing instead of making my headers that I ordered a week before Christmas!

I wish they would hurry the ____ up, I'm sure AJ is getting tired of me asking him if he's heard anything yet....lol.

Headers aren't in stock?

Have you checked www.ptuning.com? What about Road Race?

Original post updated to reflect new prices and information. Now, you can get this intake (remember- ceramic-coated!) for the same price as Injen and AEM cold air intakes. You can't find a better deal. :)

yeah..this is the stuff that I have 9(NINE) pages on, on the old boards.

I offered them up many many time and no one buys.

how bout you get them from me....huh..it was my test cars, and myself that did all the foot work...

I am selling the headers for the 2.0 for $455 shipped in the US.

Nope, if I was going to buy headers, it would be from AJ (which I did) or NextGen. Sure the companies that made them might be selling them cheaper, but if it weren't for those 2, they probably wouldn't be made yet. So, I'd rather give them my money than to give it directly to the company.

My bad Fixer...

Had I known you were selling the intakes I would have sent them your way. Not to mention, I would have bought it from you as well. But, I'm very impatient and I didn't think anyone had it in stock and since they sell direct I figured it was my best bet. Also, it's hard for me to get someone to ship here.

I think we all owe you a debt of gratitude for lobbying parts manufacturers on our behalf. I don't know Fixer. Are you still making that website because I really don't know what parts you are offering except for Nology, chrome headlamps, Alpine SC, and a few others. ???

Also Fixer, please understand I'd love to buy all the aftermarket I can from you but please know that I have a grip of shipping to pay for everything I buy in the states- which is pretty much everything because there isn't squat out here. So, if I can find the best deal, I'm sorry but I have to go with it because I still have shipping out the ying-yang to account for and it's never cheap.

I need front and rear bumpers which I already bought one but when it comes time to ship, people in the states can get away with fifty dollars shipping or less via UPS or FedEx whereas I spend more money on shipping than the price of the product itself. For example, on my carbon fiber hood shipping alone was $450+ whereas the hood was not even $350. So I hope you understand where I'm coming from. I have to find the best deals possible...but I do appreciate what you have done for the community. :)
