after thinking it was my CAI moving around, the motor itself is moving quite not normal. the mounting is messed up and the throttle body is hitting the firewall causing it to chip its way through it. It doesnt look that bad in the pic cause its a night pic, but when i saw it, it got a good chunk of it. sending the car in thursday morning

actually that is quite a common problem among these engines. The mounts aren't holding well enough. If you want that to stop altogether, get new mounts. The dealer isn't going to be able to do anything for it...

You just need to take it easy, susie. Or get some better motor mounts... and hope the stock mounting points on the chassis aren't coming apart...

Ah yes the old motor mount break. It is the rear mount that meets up with the trans mount. Id get this fixed ASAP..other wise it will be a 2000 job your dealer may not cover. Happened to me!

Isn't there a DIY floating around that tells how to stiffen the stock mounts with some 3M goo???

Just PM fixer, he can get Alpine or REAL. I personally would suggest REAL motor mounts, the street set or the Race set

well i got my car back in 1 day! wow, sent it in at 7am and got it back around 1:30. They said that the bolt for the exhaust pipping came off so they replaced that. Some other minor thing to but im not sure, i wasnt the person they talked to. Now the tib is running perfectly
