Anyone follow the directions and remove the front bumper? Seems like a bit more work than just removing the wheel well lining to install this bad boy.

it's actually not that hard, but there are a lot of screws to play around with. Why are you trying to take the bumper off when your installing CAI again? You don't need to remove the bumper.

What directions are you following?

I just installed mine last night. Its not hard at all. You dont have to remove the bumper, just unscrew the fender well and pull it down and that will give you plenty of room to work with. Also, you may want to remove the battery, it gets in the way sometimes and it easy to take out. PM me if you need any more help.

Taking out the battery helps alot...and the splash guard is easy to lossen up.

Well I'm not sure if they've always been written this way, but the instructions that came with my Injen intake say to remove the front bumper. Figured it was a bit unnessecary since I've never heard of anyone doing it.
