I'm not sure but that sounds about right... I felt a big dif when I installed it

Might want to re think when you're shifting. Almost 7 grand is way too much. The tib loses it's power significantly at between 5500-6000, so little over 6000 should be fine. I'd watch that redline if I were you. Just a little friendly advice. ;)

im bidding on an aem, but i have a question on install i read the diy and saw u had to remove the tire and wheel well and cut the opening bigger.. is that nescessery?

Not really nescessary for making the hole bigger. But you're going to have to remove another piece of the stock intake which is in the wheel well, for that you will have to get the wheel out of the way in order to pull back the wheel well lining and remove the resonator. It's a big black box that does nothing short of robbing you of some extra ponies. You'll see like a 12-15hp increase, so you'll definitly feel the difference. Hope that helps.

thanks solo.
Any way you dont need to take off the wheel but it would have made a big dif, I installed it at work, and had a few people helping me, cause we were bored (go Canadian army lol) I would recommend bending some of the "hole" because it will rub on the intake and put a hole in it, trust me i know >:( but thats about all i have noticed, I was ripped when I bought mine cause i didn't know any better then.
thanks for the shifting tip, it was just for the vid, trust me, thats not my normal driving.

Agreed. I wish they made more things for our car. I currently have the CAI and Oil Cap, planning to get their catback when funds allow. I think that's all they make for our cars... I wish it were more.
