Are there any turbo kits compatable with either the V6 or the I4 that have AUTOMATIC transmissions? Whats the final scoop on the Hyundai OEM Turbo? Reality or just wishful thinking? :)

Gude's may bolt up, he was working on that.

There is going to be a Turbo Hyundai will be selling, but the when, price and hp is unknowen-hence Wishful Reality

they have turbos for the I4...just none for the v6 yet...



....and y doesnt it matter if its for the 4 or 6 cyl.? do u have both or something?

GUDE's turbo will bolt up perfectly to the automatics. The only concern is upgrading power from there. GUDE and I are pretty sure that the auto will hold up, but we will find out for sure sometime (hopefully) in the near future.

i figure boost would be harder to control on an automatic since ur never letting go of the gas as the gears switch unlike a manual. bov goes off when u let go of the gas to engage the clutch and switch gears..
