Alright, curious here, the AirRam IM from Kspec.com (http://www.kspec.com/list.php?ac_id=81&ai_id=577) has a throttle body opening of 68mm -- but I'm just not seeing any 68mm TB's anywhere...

I'm guessing I would need to get a custom on the TB done if I wanted to go with this IM... since I'm not seeing any 68mm TB's... in order to get the max airflow with this IM...

Btw, I'm pretty sure this has been discussed before... I just don't remember the whole convo on it...

I dont think there's a TB out there with a 68 mm bore. Damn!

I bought the shark racing one that has a 63 mm bore. I definitely think that 68 mm is a bit much for the stock one to handle. You'll be better off purchasing an aftermarket one and having that one adjusted.

Sorry. :-\

There was one on HDKAutosport but don't even think about buying from them. BUt, that was the only one I ever saw. Actually you'd be best off going with 60mm. It'll create a funnel effect rather than air going into a huge 68mm opening and there be no resistance whatsoever.

If you blew air into a garden hose or a wind tunnel, in which do you think the air would go fastest in?

Right. The hose. Too much diameter and there is no resistance thus no velocity.

BUT....if you have plans on going turbo.....you want the least resistance possible

you can get the 70mm TB from kspec.com and what i was told before from them is that you could bore out the IM for you at no charge as long as yo where buying both of them at the same time, but before you go and say this guy told me this, email them to see if they would do it for you once both the IM and Turbo TB is purchased...
