ok... i was working on getting my CEL to go away(and i appears to have done so) and i was just makin sure everything was all pushed in together and all that to ensure proper install, blah blah blah. the intake bumps the brake booster every so slightly, but it doesn't push it so i don't think it's hurting it any. i attempted a video so people could see what we are talking aboot. i forgot to kill the res and all that so the video is like 5MB so i suggest you right click and "save target as..." anyway, hope this is helpful.

to be safe, i'd see if you can get it off of the booster all together . . . you motor rocks a lot more than you pushing on it under everyday driving conditions

the CAI has like 1/2" or more clearance from the brake booster... when i was giving it gas it is kind of hard to see but it was like BARELY touching it. i mean it didn't even make the brake booster move... i'm going to keep my eye on it and see how it turns out.. if anything i'll get that rubber piece from an injen CAI and swap it out with teh one from the AEM... if that would work, but i think everything is AOK

one thing i did notice and forgot to mention... the little rubber mount thing that goes in by the bracket for the old intake system broke... i'm kinda pissed aboot that i'm not quite sure how that broke. perhaps the friend that was helping me put it in cranked it down too tight, but i would hope that would **** it up like that.. anyone else have this problem?

good idea on the bending...couldn't you just remove the booster line w/ some needle nose pliers on the clamp, and then bend the nozzle on the brake booster slightly TOWARD the direction that the booster hose leads (i.e. - toward the throttle body)?? be alot easier than cutting for those of us w/o a dremel....

kinda like I bent my horn out of thee way down by the battery...
