Hi guys,

anyone experence a clutch moan on there I4 with an aftermarket clutch? it only happens out of 1st when slipping the clutch.

sounds like a hung up brake caliper. ( but it isnt)

Any ideas?

doesn't really matter what the problem is. It's Hyundai's problem...take it to the dealer and tell them to make the sound go away. ;)

I found someone else that had the problem they described it perfectly!

I get a weird noise with my stock clutch on my 2k i4. Its like a creaking/gargling/rattling/"chewbacca" sound.

I wish I knew someone who could listen to it and tell me what the problem is b/c I dont feel like paying $100 to have the dealer look at it.

It got quieter after I did a man. trans. gear oil change, but its still there - only in 1st and 2nd gears @ low speeds.

If any part of your car can be referenced to STAR WARS..you got alot more trouble on your hands than you know.

how new is the clutch?

it sounds like the pucks may have gotten hot and instead of wearing to get traction they are jsut rubbing the flywheel.

you may beed to jsut give it time to go away.
