The stock exhaust pipe on the 2003 GT from the Y clamp is only 1 7/8" big,or should i say small. If your looking to get a better, deeper sound with a little more power try the following, but don't do it,unless you want to go thru the trouble.I took a High Flow cat back, and removed the resonator, took the stock mufflers off,and placed 2" exhaust to the y clamp. Then placed a 2 1/2" exhaust pipe to the back of the muffler where i placed 2 gold tempered apc ch-067 large barrel tips on the end.(or try borla tips, they run about $35bucks) I will try and post a sound file of my exhaust,i love it,plus i did get some more horses at the wheels, this is after testing with performance mufflers, and cat, with resonator still installed. **Please dont try this if you live in a nieghbor hood of all old people.

You may not pass emissions test when that wonderful inspection time comes because of the resonator being removed.
