I am interested in purchasing the powerchip gold 91 from powerchip.com. I just spoke to a sales rep there and he told me that the chip produces like 16 whp and similar torque gains. I know a lot of companies hype their stuff, but I really believe this one. This guy was passionate and genuinely honest sounding when he said the 2.7 had the biggest gains he had ever seen from a normally aspirated motor. It makes sense Hyundai detuned their motors to run on 87 octane what would have happened if they made the ecu to run on 91. I really think this thing really could work. My question is has anyone had this upgrade done, can you vouch for these claims. Any 3rd party insight would be much appreciated.

You guys certainly are all over this, at least buying them.
So I guess no one has actually had the mod done. I was hoping someone could verify the hp gains. Oh well. Thanks for pointing me towards the group buy thread.
