i wasn't sure where to put this but here seemed as good a place as any. anywho, i know i don't have my tib yet but my car right nwo seems to be having a problem and i was hoping someone would have an idea as to what was wrong. anywho. i was pullin into the garage, and i pulled in a lil to far so put it in reverse to back up a little...then i put it in park (i have an auto) and i heard this huuuuuge CLUNK...it was so loud i heard it over my system and i had the system up pretty loud..so i turned the system off, and tried puttin it into different gears, and mainly the huge clunk happened goin between park and reverse...and maybe a little between reverse and drive...what does this mean? ???

have you noticed any problems after driving it since then?
more than likely it was just the sound of the gears engaging too hard because you probably just went in reverse and then threw it into park without coming to a complete stop using your brakes first.
Shifting from reverse to park while still rolling is a bad idea.

but i wasn't rolling...cause i played around with it sitting in the garage at a complete stop...and i was at a complete stop in the first place...no rolling...i haven't driven the car since it happened cause i JUST noticed it.

well the first thing to do is go drive it and use the different gears and see what you notice.
no one can really help you with what you have told us. Hearing a noise one time and then it going away and you never hearing it again is not enough to identify a potential problem.
If it KEEPS making the particular noise while you do a particular thing with it, thats when a proper diagnoses can be made.
(sorry for using diagnoses lol)

my auto has been doing that for over a year now.
not worrying about it. still got plenty of warranty.

try checkin the tranny fluid. if its low it could be causing it to shift hard
