anyone know whats the max shot of direct port nitrous our engines can take stock? also if you buy forged cams, crank, pistons, rods how much could it take? I was looking at the NX direct port nitrous kit and it said it could do a 250shot if you set it like that, could our engines even handle that amount?

First off are what engine are you talking about? the i4 or v6? i believe the highest anyone ran for the v6 is as 75 wet shot, it wasnt a direct port kit, just a basic nitrous express wet kit. I'm not sure about the i4

The engine may be able to handle a 250 shot once or twice, after that I doubt it. I would say a 75-100 shot on stock internals would be sufficient for occasional use, but I am not an expert. On forged internals I would say whatever you want to run is fair game. I would check Samba_GS-R about this, or try reading his Nitrous FAQ at the top of this page. There are alot of guys running the bottle, check the old forums archive for more info.
