Hey I have a 2003 V6 Tib and the sound sux. I wanted a cheap way to boost the sound. I found two mufflers on ebay Ebay Muffler (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2456391202&category=33636) I was wondering if anybody had them and how they sounded or if anbody would be able to help me in the installation. Thank you

if you're going to do an exhuast, do it the right way and get a catback. if you want to go custom, find some mufflers and then have an exhaust shop do all the piping but i wouldn't recommend just slapping some aftermarket mufflers on there

^^^^^^^Exactly what he said^^^^^^^ The stock piping on the tib is horrible. Make sure to have a shop do the piping, the results are much better.

I bought two stainless mufflers off ebay for $20 bucks each. I took them to a exhaust shop and had a custom catback with highflow cat, and 2 2/3 piping installed. It produces noticable hp gains and sounds great. Low, loud hum without that bumble bee crap. I was very impressed for $175.

Or you can buy the great SSAutochrome catback for $250.00 and you can bolt it on yourself;)

I bought my muffler for 70$ megan racing ss n1 knock off, it's nice... sounds great, looks great, and hasn't rusted (and there's been enough rain to make that rust...)

Yeah, i agree with the cheap muffler comment, Im not expecting them to last long. It was just a quick fix on a budget. Does anyone know of a bolt on that is painfully loud and deep for under $500.00. I want my car to sound and perform as mean as it looks.

A friend of mine bought one of those cheap N1 mufflers on ebay, its a pile of crap compared to my real one.
I'm just not a fan of cheaping out, thats about it.

I bought two cheapo mufflers and they have neen on my car for 2 years without a problem. I am sick of them now and wat to go with a single exhaust but they are still good.
It isn't the price of the muffler that matters, it is the design.
