Hey mystic. it only stalls once in a while. but not if your in gear right? u either have the clutch depressed or stuck in in neutral? if so i have the same problem. What cold air and what kinda exhaust do you have?

yea its like im getting off at a exit, slowing down i push the clutch in and pull it outta 4 to go into a lower gear and the damn thing stalls every once and a while.I have a AEM cold air intake, but i get my INJEN intake in tomarrow and im going to switch it. as for exhaust i have the resonator removed, high flow cat, large exhaust tubing and no mufflers, just gold flanged tips

thats why then. the large exhaust tubing im assuming. i have 3" myself and no one else has this problem. Altho. heres what i tell ya. I only notice it happening on windy days. But thats probably why. tho i wouldnt know exactly why it would do that.

Well at first i thought it was because of my brake booster line being severed, but after replacement it still happened every once and a while. I have 2 7/8" exhaust chrome tubing on mine. so maybe its just the larger pipe, windy days,or what, but i love my damn car so much, that i am willing to deal with it till i find a cure for it.

I doubt that's why. He has the stock exhaust manifolds, which are a much larger restriction then the 3" piping. If he had headers maybe, but he doesn't.

I have the same problem, but i only have the AEM CAI on mine. It's happened to me 3 or 4 times in the last month

Could it be something with the lack of backpressure from the large exhaust piping you guys have?? Have you tried resetting the ECU again?

Have you tried adjusting the idle speed on the throttle body? Increase your RPMs at idle (which is also when the clutch is depressed) and it might keep the car from stalling.

o.k i'll say something and its probably not right but its what i notice. When its a windy day.. and i do that the engine bucks a bit like sometimes its getting more air and sometimes not enuff.. meaning i think if the COLD air INTake isnt secure and can move around its messing it up but it only happens to me in that situation so i dunno. but I do think its the lack of back pressure due to the 3" piping also because like everyone said, it causes a huge power loss at low rpm's.

its happens to everydamn car with manual tr. its ither u have to let it sit in 4th gear or whatever till ur rpm goes down to about 2 and the u can nnutral it or u nutral it reight away and pump gas about 3 times . happens all the time after i smoked some on and trying to slow down . lol

no...it doesn't happened to every "damn car" with a manual transmission. I have a 5 spd and it has never stalled on me. And talk about raping the english language. It took me 5 minutes to understand what the hell you were saying.

I'd probably change the exhaust, unless you are planning on going F/I sometime soon.

3" is too big for a N/A Tib.
