Ha gotcha. Just wondering when we will see the dynos from Powerchip. Any updates? (I am really curious about this chip and what it will do for us)

Butthead, you knew I would look at this. Just go to the Group Buy thread. I post updates there all the time. I'd provide a link for you, but after baiting me. I'm not going to.:P

Also I should have dynos tonight or tomorrow morning, so there. :*

POWER CHIP WANTED 1,500$ FOR A CHIP since i have a super charger. That almost as much as it is costing me to build my engine.

Did Powerchip quote you that price? REAL's is $900 or $1400 depending on the boost. I would be surprised if you couldn't get it for those prices. Did you tell them what REAL charges(if they quoted you the above)?

REAL will charge $2,000 for custom mapping with REAL-TIME MODAC TOOL used by Hyundai, since this tool is no longer available in USA due to less interest.

Tuned data can be adjusted during driving or while car is running on dyno itself.

Price is On-Site service only. REAL Korea will actually fly from Korea to your place. You'll have to provide your own car ready to dyno or risk driving around your town at your risk at high speed.

The price cover round trip airfare from Korea to anywhere to USA or Canada. Only recommend for turbo set up cars which will bring max hp gain.

3 day racing weekend for race car is $5,000.

Alpine supercharge spec is already available from ROAD RACE MOTORSPORTS or FIXER.

once i get my engine beefed up, I'll probably look into that...kinda spensy, but hey...it can't be cheap to have someone fly out to tune your car...

I would definitely contact Powerchip Group and find out their prices before you fly someone from Korea.

Sorry, POWERCHIP do not have REALTIME CALIBRATION TOOL. MODAC is SIEMENS tool used by Hyundai and Kia.

Plus, they don't have flash tool.
www.race-real.com is ready to offer VVT I4, Delta V6 intake cams with REAL ECU.

I am just eager to see the result from the POWERCHIP.....a real dyno graph. not a drawing.

Another thing.....where did they get the result of hp gain when they did not even start testing yet.

GOFISH....nothing bad intend...just curious of my own too.

The results they have currently posted are from their testing in Australia when the Delta first came out. Because of the interest we generated and some negative comments, they decided to do NEW R&D to provide us with the best possible gains available. Their having, or not having, the calibration tool you are talking about has no bearing whatsoever whether they can offer an upgraded ECU for F/I. Rick, I realize your company has done a lot for the Tiburon. But this information you are offering is irrelevant to Powerchips capabilities, please do your own posts about real-engineering.;)
