Also it raises the IM up so itallows heat to escape from under it Pyridan 01-31-2004, 11:09 PM oh ok thanks FishesTib 01-31-2004, 11:22 PM ron can u offer any advice here anyone???? ron169 02-01-2004, 12:38 AM Ill install the spacer after work tomorrow I guess, just for you matt 02-03-2004, 02:13 AM you should do a DIY on this for us all .. i have one and would like to install it soon as well. if you could it would be much appreciated. thanks ron169 02-03-2004, 02:14 AM Can do, give me about 15 minutes matt 02-03-2004, 02:18 AM damn thats wat i call a quick response.. lol.. it wasn't even 2 minutes since i posted that last post.. and it was already answered .. but anyways thanks for the DIY when u finish .. ron169 02-03-2004, 02:24 AM hrmmm, LEt me get the pics uploaded, did you see the thread I made below? about the spacer JackMcNASTY 02-03-2004, 02:28 AM I can't imagine it would be too hard to install the spacer. ron169 02-03-2004, 02:42 AM here is the jest of it, Ill take some better pics of it later and get them properly hosted and posted Ok firsttake the the bolts off the back of the IM, the first pic is the 1st bolt, there is a nother one in the middle and on the driver side, It is either a 10 mm or a 12 mm bolt, and all three are hard to get to http://ron169.bluextc.com/Intake5.jpg the second pic is the top of the upper IM, take all bolts or nuts off that are highlighted, then pull up on the Upper Im on both sides.dont pull to hard or you might start ripping stuff off when it breaks free, but you will have to pull hard enough to get it up a few inches, tilt the front of it up, put one gasket in, then the spacer, then another gasket, the try and put it down while guiding in the studs oin the left and right.
