So I bought the 07 Gs tibby for my first car because it's super sexy, but performance is a major concern. I'm pretty much the first person in my family to really be into cars but I'm still a complete beginner lol. The first thing I want to get is a Sri (don't want to risk a cai). I'd like the minor performance gains but most of all I just would like something to show for in my engine bay :)
The big problem is that I don't know what my options are. I've read posts up and down and read this and that. I'd like to go with the injen Sri but it's labeled for the V6. Will it work? If not any recommendations?

A bit of history of my Coupé, in the second post you can find the most recent pics :3_vliegen

March 2011
My first car. It's a 2002 Gen3 Coupé and drove about 125.000km, the modifications are done by the last owner.

This was on the day I bought it (12 march 2011), a friend of my is checking the condition of the car

This friend of my owns a Porsche 944, also a fun car to drive, we drove about 500km this day hehe

Engine: 2.0 16v DOHC
Suspension: Lowered
Wheels: 17"
Exterior: Xenon lights, blinded rear/side windows (still in doubt if I keep them blinded)
Interior: Standard
Sound System: Touchscreen dvd/mp3/navigation system

This is my girlfriend in my new girlfriend

March 2011
This weekend I cleaned and waxed her a bit, looks shiny now. I attached velcro to the car mat so it don't walk away from my feet anymore :D Works fine! And I ordered Tuscani logo's..

April 2011
-Added Tuscani badges
-Removed tinted glass (not visable on the pics)
-Replaced headlights with new 8000k Xenons

Some new pics

Still need to replace 2 parts (don't know the english terms :3_chubby:).

The right foglightglas which is broken..

And the left windowrubber which just looks old. The same rubber at the right side is already replaced by the last owner, it looks so much better.

Does somebody have any advice where I'm able to order these specific parts?

July 2011
Got my Coupe about 5 months now and drove about 6000km (+/-3700mi), burned +/- 480liter, still very happy!

2 new pics.

Im looking for new mats like the one my photo, i'm not sure if those were standard, but I can't find them anywhere. Any advice?

As of May 15th, 2012
Current Milage: 74,124
Fuel consumption: 3,575 USG

The car was ordered at the dealer on April 2005 and was delivered on August 7th, 2005 as a 2006 year model.

My car is the only 2006 samba red (VX) , 6sp manual FX ( Tiburon SE trim in US) sold in Panama out of a total of 3 V6 Tiburon sold that year. As far I know there are less than 7 V6 Tiburon sold by the Hyundai Dealer in Panama between 2002 and 2009.

There are many more Tiburons on the roads today but most of them are second hand Tiburons imported from US.

This was the first car I purchased with my own means and I have been the only owner and plan to keep for a long time . I have delevoped a sweet spot for it in my heart. I basically use the car to drive to work daily and sometimes on the weekend.
For familiar duties I also have a 2011 Toyota Fortuner 3.0 Turbodiesel.

Hope you enjoy the car

Alrighty so everybody here knows that these manifolds are a ***** to remove. For the front manifold i was able to get all the nuts removed but on the bottom left i cannot get the manifold to clear the stud to remove the damn thing. I thought about cutting a little bit off the stud so it will clear and i would just install a new stud. I also have a BIG problem on the manifold closes to the firewall. The bottom right nut is stripped. Unfortonality it would not budge and my hand slipped. What would be the next thing to do for this? Thank you.

I took my car for an oil change today and got her washed. She's looking very pretty indeed. I have her sitting out front of my house so I can enjoy her. Looked out front as I was walking up the stairs and I noticed something very different...

It appears someone tried prying off my license plate. I live in an apartment complex and there are always little kids walking up and down in front of my house. They normally look at my car when I'm out working on her, installing little things. I have crappy little plastic screws on the plate now with no holder. Guess I'll have to get some real screws and a holder. Just haven't seen one that I liked. Any ideas??

I was under the impression that resurfacing the hood- (ie sanding off the clear coat and reapplying) it would correct these issues.... Granted it does look better and the oxidation spots are gone- but it still has the yellow/green hue.

How to I get my original black to return?

So for some reason my reverse lights don't work, the bulbs are fine, I was told that there is a switch on the tranny somewhere. Is this something a can do myself? If so is there a DIY? I tried to google it but found nothin on it.

Also my rear windshield defroster is working.... Kinda only the first 3-4 lines are doing anything. Is there a fuse somewhere for this? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
