R32 Seat

Ok so this is going to sound pretty crazy but could I get an r32 seat in my Elantra? I would most definitely need to make custom brackets and all that but just wondering. I have always loved the look of the seat and just to have a imported jdm seat in my car would be really cool.

Hers a link to the one I like.

Thanks!

Re: R32 Seat

Without dimensions, who knows?

If you had basic info (seat height, width, depth, sliding track length and width, etc.) all any of us can do is guess.

Almost anything can be done, question is whether it's worth it.

Maybe you need to get some seat dimensions and check against your car.

Wifes car: 2004 Tib GT, 2.7L, 5MT, 193K miles, medium blue, basically stock.
My car: 1998 Legacy GT wagon, 2.5L, 5MT, 176K miles, "Quicksilver", not stock and not slow...

Ok. Would I have any airbag light problems since I have an airbag in my seat? And the skyline seats are so expensive. I'm sure the one I'm looking at will go for over $300. I feel like that's a lot. Thanks for your reply, I'll let you all know if I try to put a seat in.

Re: R32 Seat

Yes, you will likely have a SRS code if you just swap seats out. A fix ready before you swap seats would be best.

Re: R32 Seat

There a couple DIY srs light elimination posts on here for steering wheel srs lights when swapping out steering wheels using resistors. May work for the seats?

NGM stage 3. NGM 460 injectors. DC headers. DC exhaust. AEM CAI. Sarona Body Kit.
