I wish i was rich! lol. My Dad and I bought that Corvette about 15 years ago for $6,800 and it was in rough shape. We spent the next few years stripping it and restoring it, it was sort of a Father/Son project.

The Borla is nice but it resonates too much inside the car, I am going to finish dynamatting my car this week. I hope that takes care of it, from the outside though it is not very loud, I suspect the sound is comming from the resonator.

Dopey, how loud is your exhaust? Does it resonate inside your car when you are driving between 2,000-3,000 rpm? Mine gives me a headache now!

Well, before my headers is would get kinda raspy around 2-2.5rpms, then my intake sound covered up the exhaust, that was with no resonator on the exhaust and my 2.25" piping. After I put my headers on, it was really raspy after about 2.5k rpms, put on a really high flowing resonator and it sounds good all the time now.

But it isn't loud at all inside the car. I don't play my radio that loud at all, but if I'm not mashing the gas, I usually have to turn my radio down a bit to hear my exhaust.

But hey, I got the dyno scheduled for the 16th. I have to call on the 13th to confirm the amount of cars that are coming and that we are still coming. So let me know if you, your cousin and friend are still coming or not, for sure. That will be a long drive for your friend, from Buckhannon to Washington. Oh, bad thing is they want to start dynoing at 9:00a.m.....

There's room if you want to come. Let me know by the 11th if you can/can't go for sure. That would be quite a drive for you and very early.....lol.

Even if you could make it, I could see why you might not want to come.

So far there are a definate 2 SRT's going, maybe 3....lol. I would like to get another Tib to go, so then there will be 3 tibs as well.

Anyway, if you wanna go, just let me know in time.

Re: OFFICIAL West Virginia MEMBER Thread

Eh, I don't have a winter beater at the moment.

But, I do have some kinda low dyno #'s for my Tib.

Max Power = 147.9
Max Torque = 158.8

I'll post up the chart and the chart that has each RPM and the power & torque for that RPM.

This could explain my 16.2......lol. I think I'm going to have engine checked out.

A guy that went with us with an '03 Civic Si ended up getting like 143whp and 120ft.lbs of torque.

Yes, I have a V6. I'm only about 10hp off. I'm just glad I have more hp than that Civic Si that came with us. But I only beat him by like 4 hp and he doesn't have headers yet. Though I still have like 40 ft.lbs more torque than he does.

Re: OFFICIAL West Virginia MEMBER Thread

Its all about the torque.....I hate New civic Si's. There is 1 here in Logan and he has revved at me a time or 2 but I cant ever catch him in the right place...Always heading in the other direction. I want to eat him alive. I dont even know why he bothers to rev he got beat by a freind of mines 99 tib with an exhaust and intake. Sorry photo but I had to work today...Maybe we will meet up someday.

Well, I'm getting my sunroof worked on again right now. I should have it back today though.

I'm thinking I will probably go to the track, just need to get a hold of a couple people. The last time we went, I followed someone who knew the way. He was in a SRT, so I was really just trying to keep up with him and not really paying attention to how we got there.

So, I want to try to get him to go again so we don't get lost....lol. I'll call him here in about 1hr., then post back here.

Sorry, I didn't get back with you sooner, but its been hell at work this week.
