I would like to hear your exhaust sometime Dopey, how loud is it? Did you lose any torque when you got your headers and exhaust?

Re: OFFICIAL West Virginia MEMBER Thread

Looks sweet man...I need to post engine bay pics myself. All i have is a Liveonspeed intake so far. I cant decide if I want to remove the covers and paint my valve covers and do colored wire loom and what not. Or just keep the covers cause it looks clean. Also I cant figure out what color to paint my calipers.....Black car...Polished and Graphite wheels....Any opinions.

I don't think its loud, but I've been told it is. You can't notice it that much when you're in the car, unless you're "punchin" it.

Yeah, with my CAI, headers, and exhaust, I lost some torque below 3k rpms, but at 3k, it feels like I'm using nitrous or my TC just hit boost. I'm only using 2.25" exhaust piping.

If all goes well, you will hear it next month or whenever we decide to meet....lol.

What do you think of these wheels on my car? They don't make mine anymore (Limited Edition), so I'm having that guy's insurance buy me a whole new set.....

There was some plastic that melted onto my front header and if they can't get it off, they're replacing that too. And of course the hood will CF, talking with AJ right now about it.

Yeah I like those wheels. I bet you are excited about that CF hood too. I am glad to hear their insurance co. is treating you right, they are probibly afraid you are going to sue them. Maybe you should give Pete Higginbotam a call, lol.

LOL!!!!! I hate that guy!

"Call me, I'm Pete Higginbotam." LOL!!!!!! Old Fart.

And yeah, I was already planning to sue if his insurance wouldn't cover all the damages.

It looks like I will probably be paying about $234 for the hood and if I pay the difference of the wheels it will be $133 from 1010tires or $192 from Discount Tires. Total of $367 or $426 for a CF hood and a new set of wheels, not bad.

I want to go with Discount Tire, but I could use the price cut. I'll probably get a small loan from the 'rents until I get paid on Wednesday.

Well, they want me to try to get the wheel that was damaged re-finished. If that can't be done, then they will get a new set. So I don't know if I can get the wheels.

Yeah, but State Farm has usually been pretty decent on getting what I want done. But I see their point on the wheels....why pay $488 for a new set when they can pay $175 to get my wheel fixed.
