Re: The Official IOWA Thread

I've seen a hell of a lot more IOWA tibs lately. A week ago I did a 25-60 mph race down a highway recently with a copy of my tib lol. Just wondering if any of you are active here. Would like to start something up here in DSM. Meet up at Grey's Lake and show off to them Honda ricers.

Add me to the Iowa roster, folks.

Just bought my '03 GT over the weekend and have already thrashed it in the recent snowstorm. Since I bought it, I've already seen a few others running around the Boone area.

Right now it's the companion to my '87 MR2, but that's about to go bye bye since Il Deuce got hit by a snowplow a few weeks ago and is being taken by the insurance company in exchange for a generous payout. That money's going right into the Tib.

Re: The Official IOWA Thread

Finally.. some more members from Iowa.. I wanna start slapping NT stickers everywhere just to get more notoriety. Tibs are everywhere here but no one seems to know NT exists.

Been seeing more and more Tibs in Des Moines lately. I also work with someone at the Microsoft Data Center that has a tib.. if you're creeping on this forum make yourself known! lol. Would like to maybe meet up and chat Tib stuff or something.

I was born in Ames (a long time ago), and I did a lot of work at the Cheyenne MS DC. I worked in the UPS rooms installing battery monitoring systems, last count I think I had worked on installing 26 or so in Cheyenne.
What do you do for MS?

Wifes car: 2004 Tib GT, 2.7L, 5MT, 193K miles, medium blue, basically stock.
My car: 1998 Legacy GT wagon, 2.5L, 5MT, 176K miles, "Quicksilver", not stock and not slow...

Re: The Official IOWA Thread

If you get into a UPS room at the site, look for boxes up on top of the battery cabinets that are black & white and have "BTECH" on them. That is who I worked for.

As to Ames, I didn't live there long but my mom did and she went to Iowa State as did my father. FWIW.

Re: The Official IOWA Thread

Does anyone know where the best place to have a supercharger installed is? Looking to get one and after doing some research not sure I feel comfortable doing the install myself. Wheres a good place around the Quad City area to get this type of work done?
