wanted to ask if this battery could be used as a daily driver battery? Or is it made only for taking it to the track/short trips?

It can be used as a daily driver. I have ran it on mine for almost a year not even through the winter with no probs.

to charge your battery. i never needed it though. it is a battery tender for when you do not drive your car, like if you parked it for the entire winter.

Re: Pc 680mjt Race Battery

summit racing sells them for 130.

I wonder if the battery can be mounted laying down since it is a dry cell battery?

Re: Pc 680mjt Race Battery

I wonder how this battery would perform if I put a simple system in my car, 800 watts tops. 500 to a sub and 300 to the interior speakers.

Re: Pc 680mjt Race Battery

I would say if you plan to have a big system in your car you would need a larger battery since the smaller the battery the smaller the reserve capacity. It would work fine but I wouldn't recomend running that stereo without the car running.
