Is the a pillar just an over lay as well or does it replace

do not buy they are not even an overlay just cut outs. THEY ARE BAD!

They are good and ARE overlays as they lay over the existing piece....

Staw's work is and always has been high quality.

overlay would cover the whole thing they are badly cut out and about 7mm to small around edges

+1 sorry staw but i purchased these from you a while back.. they dont fit the entire a-pillar and you didnt include the 3m doublesided tape.. within time they got ugly with the weather.. i wouldnt recommend buying them but each to their own. i would have returned them but they've been used and aren't in good shape due to the outside elements and i doubt i would be granted my money back.

Idk about the pillars, but I can vouch for the gauge overlays, they fit perfectly, just in case anyone wanted one of those and was worried about the above posts...

Sarge, we get it. You were unhappy with the product and described why. You don't need to be continually posting the exact same thing in here over and over.

I had both 1 good fitting set, and 1 so-so fitting set of the outside triangle mirror overlay pieces. The only problem I had was the corner of my 1st set peeled back slightly when the weather changed, and while I was washing the car 1 day the sponge caught the edge that was sticking up and cracked it off. (as its an overlay it is pretty thin, so I can see why it cracked off)... but for the price it was a nice little upgrade. Users that want to keep them from weathering should clearcoat the pieces with automotive clear before applying them to the vehicle, then just wash and wax like normal.
