dont get me wrong. helping each other out on here is the best thing about this site, but i think needing a DIY for that is going a little overboard.

I thought they could only be taken out by taking the wheel off. So thanks, not all of us are so auto-knowledgable

if you want to avoid possiblly scratching your rims just take the wheels off...spin each around...push out flying H center cap with rubber end of hammer or screwdriver and replace with Tuscani one...just asking for trouble if your hand slips with screwdriver trying to pry them out...took about half hour to do all 4 before I got new rims...

Dang, this isn't as simple as I thought. My flathead screwdriver doesn't fit in prying out the Hyundai wheelcap. I can only get as far as the face (which is backed by an adhesive). Hmmm.

i couldnt get them off with a flathead screwdriver but i used a butter knife and they easily came off and didnt damage the wheels at all.

the stock tools that come with the car for changing out the tire should have a flat part on it. that piece fits just fine

Hm. I didn't see this DIY when I bought my Tuscani wheel caps for my 05 GT. I chucked up a good phillips tip into my power drill and zipped a drywall screw about half an inch into each cap. Then I grabbed the end of the screw with a pair of RoboGrip pliers and yanked the little bastards out. Total time for removal of stock caps and installation of Tuscani caps: 5 minutes.

Not recommended if you plan on keeping the stock caps. Heh.

If anyone's got the Aussie T emblems ('Tiburon', not 'Tuscani') or you just don't want 'Tuscani' on your center caps, check out my DIY for the best way to do it...

DIY: Painting Over "Tuscani" on Center Caps (for those with "Tiburon" T badges)

I'm still waiting for the pictures before I attempt to do this mod. I need to go buy a screwdriver first because I don't own one. Which screwdriver is better, the one with the yellow handle or black handle? Is there a cetain store which makes good screwdrivers or can I just go to a hardwear store?

Thank you
