Old Headlight Adjustment 10-22-2009 , 03:35 AM

I have an 05 tiburon and just got some body work done. I drove it at night after and the headlights are basically pointing at the floor. ANyone know how to adjust the vertical angle of the headlights? If so pics would be great too. THANK YOU

your bulbs might just be installed funny. The bulbs base shoudl align with the hole perfectly. I had this problem with opne foglight and it was due to it being a little loose and it was sagging.

look in the diy section for how to paint bezels or somethign that invovles taking it apart if you need pics.

There are two adjusters for each light.

The horizontal low beam is partially blocked by the body work, vert low is easy to see and get to.

It should be. HMAS doesn't have a good pick of the 07/08 HL, they only show 1 adjuster.

Does anyone know which way to turn (left or right) the horizontal adjustment if you have your HIDs putting off a check design (right side goes up while drivers side stays flat and horizontal). I have seen a lot of people say they are supposed to be that way. But then I have seen someone with a F/L on here and in their avatar their HIDs are completely flat and horizontal?

some lights have 3 screws some have 4. if you bought your F/L headlights from SFR, they only have 3. and there is a way to adjust the vertical if you only have 3. You have to tighten the one on the bottom which pushes the light up. losening it brings the housing down. the two top ones control horizontal.
