Old canister purge valve 11-17-2010 , 01:58 AM

I have two codes:
P0102 Mass air flow (MAF) sensor/volume air flow (VAF) sensor – low input Wiring short to ground, MAF/VAF sensor, ECM

P0444 Evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve – open circuit Wiring open circuit, EVAP canister purge valve, ECM

Where is the canister purge valve located? (2003 Tiburon GT). The picture is not very clear in the manual and can not make out the location.

That will give you an idea of roughly where it is in the fuel system. I don't know exactly where it is on the Tiburon, though.

Purge valve is located directly under the throttle body on the V6 - it hangs from a bracket bolted to the head below the rear valve cover - that code is normally thrown when the gas cap is not tight or has failed.

That's what I thought, but I wasn't 100% sure.
