Sent out refunds to everyone who inquired. Just so you all know, it seems that Paypal does not allow a full refund after 30 days--they still take out their fees in this case. If you receive about $15 less than $390, then that's why.

How do I go about purchasing at the $630 rate?

Not to bring this back from the dead or anything....
But if we can get 10 people to purchase for $465, then that would be an option too. These would just be basic bumpers--no mesh or anything.

hey mike why couldn't you just order 3 and keep em on the shelf for when people got money? or better yet, make the bumper here?

I'll see what I can do. Importation costs are hella pricey these days, so it's really tough to even get bumpers here without taking a considerable risk.

I have other small projects for the Tib I wanted to get underway.

However, should these bumpers find their way here in the US, even basic ones, I may strongly consider purchasing it.

tell you what mike, i'll still cover the price of one, someone else still has to be interested. Then importshark covers the third and we just let it sit till a buyer comes. when they do come they should have to cover their end of the costs to get the bumper here.i figure if you did it like this, it would be more effective then trying to find buyers up front in groups of 10 or 25. Beleive me mike, if this bumper is made availiable to people, although it is pricier, people will still make purchases.People do want this bumper.

I would also see if ARK speed racing has a can coming over that isnt full yet and see if we can stick em in their can just cause it may be cheaper.

Its alot of hasstle for 3 bumpers but thats business sometimes. if theirs no risk, theres no reward.

yes, i believe the interest is out there though, if somebody had the money to order 25 of them at 390*, i dont think they would have a problem selling them even at 450, i do believe "if you build it, he will come" . its just hard to get everybody to throw down money at the same time when they don't know for sure if they will get the product, people are impatient, i know i am.

I'm not sure where your numbers are coming from. You're looking at around ~$150 shipping per 3 bumpers. If I could walk into a shop and plunk down $350 for one, I might do an impulse buy in the future, but if you take 25@$290 ($7,250) + $1,250 shipping, that's $340 each (I don't know if import fees were already in the $290 price). Now, factor in the risk and the fact that you are tying up $8,500, you'd have to sell them for much more than $350 each or it's not worth it. Once you get into that range, you start to lose the impulse buy and customers. The higher the price, the higher the risk of a long shelf life.

I could be mistaken on manufacturing costs, but I'd guess a company like Extreme Dimensions (or the like) could easily duplicate the hana style (as they have everything else) and make them available at a reasonable cost. It all comes down to actual demand.
