Old Braided Clutch Line Which One? 02-21-2013 , 12:15 AM

Hey guys I have been having clutch disengagement issues and the only thing I haven't replaced is the rubber hose. I found an old thread where people were buying from a place called HEL, but their line is 38$ plus 15$ to ship from Britain. Has anyone found one that is at least in the US to cut down on delivery time? I want to get a quality part, but not spend a fortune on an 8" line.

Everything has been fine till recently...so I am guessing its a hydraulic issue and that is the last part in the system I haven't replaced.

Yeah I saw that thread. There are cheaper alternatives, but I dont know which ones are junk and which are good. Was hoping someone would chime in if they got one and it was good.

I haven't had a chance to put the Race Tech Performance 350z line on yet. Can't seem to get a break in this bitter cold weather and I don't know anyone with a garage.

The fittings and length of the line look correct, so I don't see why it wouldn't fit. The only part I'm not 100% certain on is the ID of the stock banjo fitting. The RTP banjo fitting has a 10mm ID, so if that's the same as stock then it will fit.

Is that the one for 25$ free shipping? If it works let me know.

Yeah it's like $26 now, was $22 when I bought it.

Can't say when I will have a chance to put it on. Probably a few weeks at best.

Do you think it will be significant in the pedal feel and function? Are you getting one to fix an issue or just stiffen up your pedal?

I'm putting it on because it's the cool thing to do.

I have no idea if it will actually be a noticeable improvement or not.

Probably, which is why I bought the $22 line and not the fancier $53 line.
