Ok, well this thread is just a temporary thread to gauge interest in getting a meet together. I plan on attending the meet in Cincy April 9th. I wanna try and get one going up here in Columbus April 10th, so that would be a staturday and sunday.

In the past four Ohio Meets, Tibs have come in from all over: Detroit, Ann Arbor, Toledo, Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus with about 10 total. Lets see if we can get more.

For Cincinnati, Newport has a lot to do. There is an AMC Theater, mall, restaurants and bars around.
For Colubmus, CompUSA is just a good open area you can't miss. From there we can hit up Easton or do whatever anyone wants to.

Come to both or one or the other, just trying to do something bigger and alittle different this time around. Last spring we went to Magic Mountain and did the drifting go-carts and lasar tag in one of the meets back in 2003. Last fall we had a mod day at a near by park and cooked out.

I just so happen to have a 4 day weekend that weekend, so I SHOULD be able to make it, however I am not sure of my car. I am still waiting on more cash to finish my "projects". I doubt I can have it done by April, probably May.

How far is Columbus from Michigan. Im interested if there are any other MI people willing to caravan down there

Its about a 2-2.5 drive from the border of MI. Try and get tiburondriver47 to come down from Ann Arbor.

I get off work on the 9th at 4pm in northern KY. Depending on the time of the meet, I should make the cincy meet. I will be there for the Columbus meet. Just let me know of when most are heading from cincy to columbus.

so then it should be like 3 -3.5 hour drive, not bad not bad. I will try to get as many ppl from MI to go, but they are all lazy as hell and never check this forum

i'll have to see my how my work schedule looks, but i should be able to go to at least cincinnati. I'll talk to my friend who owns an eclipse gs-t to see if he's interested.

there is a very small posibility that I might be selling the tib for a wrx, so i may be in that for the meet.

I'll be leaving for Flordia on the 4th of April and probably won't get back till the 12th. Getting the built bottom done. I'll be glad when this car is finished.

OK getting an Idea of when people are free to meet in cincy. Please PM me with times and I will figure the best time. If you are coming from out of town please let me know. If you want to come in on friday and stay over night i will see about hotels in the area and give you the #'s. I will be going out on that friday night to a bar/club/pool hall, all are welcome 21 and up.

i wanna come but i cant drive anywhere yet w/o one of the parental units, i'll see if i can get one of them to come or something, hmmm...

I think that would be really fun, but damn I'm not planning on getting up that early on a sunday for anything. plus people who aren't in columbus would have to get up way early to make it.

man it is so worth it to get up and go race. one of the only things i get up for without getting paid for.
