Yeah, I did this with some 4 ga wire and connectors a little over a year ago. I made only 5 wires, but I have my transmission, upper IM and front valve cover grounded.

Since everyone is asking for pics....Here is the results of my writeup on page 1 using parts from partsexpress.com

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/547050/6

sorry, dont clearly show connection points, but its simple. just remove a screw from the engine, transmission, strut tower, valve covers, etc., then put it back in through a ring terminal.

Yea, some pics in this thread are showing the front wires grounded to the plastic radiator - a total waste of good wire (I did the same initially). Take em just outside to some metal guys...

Just make sure you make the wires as short as possible and you sand away any paint that would interfere with a solid connection. the longer the wire is, the more resistance there is which defeats the whole purpose of upgrading.

So.. I bought the Shark racing kit which had wires already set to go , they were somewhat long. I did not cut them but it seems to be working ok. This is a really stupid question, but im no mechanic, where is the transmission on the i4?

I already put on the ground wires , but followed the exact picture for the i4 above
