ok I have heard people saying that they have problems sticking the Tuscani calliper stickers on get letters all misaligned, so here is an easy way to do is

Scissors

2. Cut strip of the letters make sure you follow the curve so you don't cut into the other strip

This is not tricky but take your time, the white backing is waxed and the clear coast is sticky, Start to peel of white backing, then when you get to a letter start to fold the backing like you are creasing it and careful run the clear coat against the letter it should stick to the clear coat




5 Do this for each letter till you have all the letters on the clear coat


6 The carefully stick the white wax backing on again, the letter will not stick to it.. then you can apply to caliper and it should stick 1st then slowly remove clear coat..... The glue on the letter is stronger than the glue on the clear coat....

Yeah, I think most peoples problem is way after these steps, actually placing it on the caliper. So I'm guessing these "Stickers" don't melt off?

I would think they would come off if you drove through a water.

The glue on the stickers is very very strong and once in place hard to get off........

Yeah people have been doing 1 letter at a time...........thats why it gets messed up

This way all at once makes it easier

Actually, I don't think it's necessarily about common sense - the problem is that sometimes that top clear part isn't sticky...And unless someone knows it's supposed to be, they probably won't realize that you don't have to stick each letter on one at a time.

I guess if the clear coat is not sticky then maybe use a masking tape or Cellotape, the not so stick one, the one that looks crap on ya Xmas presents

If the you fear the decal will fall off first paint your cailper with a silver or whit paint then apply the tuscani lettering and paint the caliper red or what ever you desire. Once paint has dried remove lettering then apply you clearcoats. now your lettering will never fall off.

What kind of paint should you use on the calipers?

Has anyone actually put these on their rear calipers? Since they come in sets of 4 I figured you would put them on all 4 calipers.

The problem is they're way too big to fit on them. Not unless I wanted it to say "uscan".

Luckily they looked fine just being on the front.

I have an 05 SE so the front calipers are already red and have white/silver HYUNDAI lettering on them stock. The rears are grey, so I shot them with seven coats of high-temperature engine enamel spray paint in Ford Red and it came pretty close to the stock red caliper color. I bought the four Tuscani decals from Dreamka4u and only used them on the rear calipers. If you take your time, the entire job can look like it came straight from the factory like that.

yea i just painted my calipers yesterday and realized that there's no way they would fit if all 4 were the same size and i was wondering the same thing.....
