Can anyone help me? I got all of the screws out (3 on driver side, 2 on passenger side), but the vents WILL NOT come out. It feels like something is holding it in place at the top of the vent.

Are you sure? The DIY says there are only 2 on the passenger side, and the pic only shows 2 screws. I finally got the driver's side one off, I just had to put some muscle into it. The passenger side one is a pita though.

Can anyone confirm this? I'm not seeing/feeling a 3rd screw on the passenger side. I'm about ready to break this thing.

Nevermind, I just went incredible hulk and got it off. To clarify, there is NOT 3rd screw on the passenger side.

Sorry for the double post, but I can't edit for some reason. Is that disabled on this forum?

I have an 03 GT, so they must be different. The post is there for the 3rd screw, but there is no hole.

No problem. IMO, the screws were not the hardest part. The hardest part for me was actually removing the vents. Tip: you can't be scared of breaking them. You have to really pull to get them out. But I could see the screws being a problem if you have big hands.

Post up some pics of your led vents when you're done!

Good luck getting to that far right hand screw. I tried for an hour and then gave up, and just cut the old ring off.
