the best way to start is with an air intake......

the 3 things people do first are usually intake...headers...and exhaust.......then a fuel tuner and the big toys come in..lol

intake, header, exhaust, turbo, super charger, plugs/wires... anything you do as an improved performance mod will give you some sort of a gain weather it be hp or it will be your car running cooler, smoother... whatever... so many things to start with... take a look at the sticky in the newbie section about budget moding and such

Your not going to find a way to convert the tib to propane, at least not a specific bolt on kit...

You want more HP but then you ask to convert your car to Propane which is 10 - 15% less efficient than gasoline a a combustible gas - so in the end you're only going to loose power.

You were very close... stickied in the "Newbie" thread was this: Basic Guide to Modding: http://www.newtiburon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67087

The easiest and most bang-for-your-buck mods are intake (cold air intake or short-ram intake), and an exhaust system. Those two things alone will really free up a lot of mid-range power because the stock intake and exhausts are very restrictive, and are designed for 'quiet' rather than 'power'

When I just had intake and exhaust, I added an Apexi Neo fuel tuner and gained 10 more whp. But that was on an '03, I think the '04 fuel curve was slightly better from stock than the '03. Either way..don't underestimate the tuner!

Pulleys, I/H/E, upper intake manifold if you want to go bolt on N/A and attempt to keep your warranty. Tuner at the end to maximize those mods. S/c if you want to blow the doors off of unsuspecting victims.

Not a huge gain; they just help free up lost hp. You might notice a gain in 1st and 2nd, but not through any other gears.

Cold airs are proven to have no significant hp increase. They may make it run cooler but don't waist your money.

They have gains such as throttle response and increase air velocity which does increase power. Just don't expect 20hp out of one. But on F/I setup with a stock airbox diameter you will lose tons of power because you will actually be creating vacuum on the TB side due to a restrictive flow. On a S/C engine you could expect 10whp out of a CAI easy. So it really depends on the application, saying they are a waste of money doesn't really make sense.

I agree with you on that. But you replied back on February 11th of this year, so technically you bumped this old thread as well. So you are at fault as well. You also need to let up on the constant negative responses to the forum's newbies. Just let them know they can't bump old threads in a nice way, not in a smart aleck way, which I have noticed you seem to do a lot.
