How to Fix a Faulty Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

So I think the issue I have been having with my car is due to a problem with my TPS.

First: is the TPS the piece located on the oppsite side of the throttle? Is there only one sensor in the TPS?

How can I try to fix the TPS? Should I buy a new one?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you getting any malfunction codes? The TPS is on the part of the throttle body that faces the ground.

I bought one at the dealer a 2 years ago and it was $70+tax. Just replace it.
