The healights are pretty easy to convert. All you have to do is swap out the wiring harness.

Here is a one picture wonder for you all:

If you have HID's in your 2003's will they swap right over to the 2005's?

Yes, shouldnt be a problem. if it doesnt work then you have to switch the wiring like on the picture above. Good luck!

Re: DIY: F/L Headlight Conversion to Fit 2003-2004 Models

Searched but cannot find the answer I am looking for. I am assuming the other connectors to the headlight remain the same. If I have HIDs for my low beams I do not need to splice wires or buy the harness correct?

Kinda looks like there might be clips on the top and bottom of the plug.

Can you just pull the entire 03-04 harness out and put it in an 05-06 without splicing. I have all of the wires out of my 04 headlights without having to cut anything which is why I am wondering

This DIY seems pretty easy enough, just to understand it, this is so that the stock oem power cord can connect to the aftermarket headlight harness right?

Re: DIY: F/L Headlight Conversion to Fit 2003-2004 Models

the DIY is simple.
on the 03/04 headlights you have city lights within the high beam.
on the f/l or 05/06 headlights you do not have this. so you do not need those wires.

you are swapping the plug from your old headlights to the new ones, not hard to understand.
so you splice your + and - 's

Yea doesn't seem difficult at all, i just wanna make sure i can do this with my 05'. The aftermarket OEM headlights and my current headlights have two different harnesses. Just wanted to know if it would be the same procedure before i start to snip snip.
