Kel's big 2004 Rally Red (BMXuron) part-out

Well folks her time has come, at 170k my trusty Tiburon has become so rusty that I need to begin saying farewell. It's been a long and fun journey but I've decided to move on to another project. My plan is to sell as many parts for it as possible, pull the engine/trans and tinker with them in my spare time, and scrap the chassis/whatever is leftover.

Basically everything aftermarket and currently on the car is for sale, the first bunch of items posted (excuse the pink carpet and husky hair) are ready to ship. Please bear in mind I work 55 hours a week and will get things out as quick as possible. There will also be larger items which would be best for local pickup (I'm in Central NY) unless you don't mind a large shipping charge. All parts currently on the car are for sale (I'll get to those things last) but I will not be able to accept payment or ship those things until it's taken off the road. I will however make a reserve list of who is interested in what.

Best way to contact me is via PM or in this thread... I will turn on email notifications so that I can keep up with this. I will give discounts for multiple items purchased and ship items as efficiently as possible. Prices DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING. Everything is OBO/negotiable...

Items ready to ship:

2004 Bubble-style headlights WITH 2005/2006 WIRING. Interior housings painted black, orange corners removed but will include them with sale. Headlight lenses are currently separated but I will include enough butyl tape for you to reseal them. Lenses are clear but could use a high grit polish and buff. All caps/hardware included. $30.

Complete rear seatbelt assemblies. $10

Various air-intake parts. The filter is a brand new "Spectre" filter (short style, black) I've made various projects out of the piping, the two red pipes create an intake with the filter between the battery and headlight. The straight section on the right is very nice thick piping which I used for my current intake (this is the extra material). Take all piping, filter, couplers and misc clamps for $30.

Various plastics. From the top we have a radiator cover painted black/stickered - $10.
Passenger side dash insert (where the cupholder goes) - $5.
Rubber style footrest pedal - $5.
Rubber cup and coin insert (not pictured) both for $10.
Spare tire screw-down - $5.
OEM i4 oil cap - $5.
Blank dead switches - $2 each.
Manual transmission shifter base bushings (OEM style) - $5.
Honda 5 speed shift knob OR Tiburon 5 speed OEM shift knob - $10 each.
Driver and passenger door pulls wrapped in 3M CF vinyl - $10.
Driver and passenger tweeters (driver side has only 1 pin) - both for $10.
2004 orange headlight reflectors - $5.
OEM base model hubcaps. A few have one or two clips broken but they all stay on. Paint is worn. - $10.

Various seals, gaskets, etc.
OEM brand new balljoint - $10.
( 8 ) new exhaust studs for 2.0 - $5.
Auto 7 #126-0004 output shaft seal - $5.
New Valeo OEM throwout bearing - $15.
Auto 7 #014-0004 PCV valve - $10.
Auto 7 #619-0056 input shaft seal - $5.
(2) Timken #710222 shift shaft seal - $5.
Auto 7 #307-0008 IAC valve gasket (I believe this is for V6) - $5.
Fel-Pro thermostat housing gasket - $5.
New OEM coolant hose (90 degree under coil pack) - $10.
Used water pump pulley - $10.
(2) intake manifold gaskets, one Hyundai OEM, one Fel-Pro - $10 each.
Sway bar bushings front and rear (sport suspension) style, and rear "non-sport" style. Sport style has wider rear bushings. Take all 6 just in case for $15.

Now some things I would refer to as test-equipment, electrical things which as far as I know work, but are still used electrical items.
OEM spark plug wire set, as far as I know have 120k, good condition, worked when replaced with NGK blue wires - $10.
OEM spoiler tail-light, bought used from a member here for a project, never ended up using it. Small scratch on one edge pictured - $10.
OEM MAF sensor, worked fine when removed, I replaced for troubleshooting but this was not the issue, so should work fine - $10.
OEM base model radio, this was given to me already removed from the previous owner. A little surface rust on the bottom rear. Not sure if it works but I can test it before shipping - $15.

Black leather seats and door-inserts, bought from a member on here but never installed. Includes both front headrests, and top and bottom portions for both front seats. I also have leather or cloth door card inserts. Nothing for rear seats included. Driver side has a hole on each section. Take the whole leather seat pack + leather door inserts for $30.
Cloth inserts included free or sold separate for $10.

Re: Kel's big 2004 Rally Red (BMXuron) part-out

My "clear timing belt cover" project. Unfinished but a good start. The mounting nuts on the inside sit a little too close to the belt for my comfort. One of a kind item, I'd let it go for $20.

(2) front brake caliper brackets. I believe both sides are the same. One is noticeably newer, both in good shape, slide pins are included and none are seized. $15 each.

Moog / OEM rear trailing arms. I ordered Moog from Rockauto, they came with Hyundai OEM stickers on them. Never installed. $25 each.

Hyundai OEM and/or FourGreen oil filters.
I have 9 (one is not pictured) Hyundai/Kia OEM oil filters. Each includes a crush washer. $4 each or all (9) for $30.
I have 10 Fourgreen "OEM" oil filters. Bought on Amazon and I got the classic bait and switch (OEM filters were pictured in the ad and I received these not-quite OEM filters). No Hyundai or Kia markings anywhere on them. Size is identical to OEM. Take all 10 + crush washers for $20.

LARGE and uneasy to ship things (local pickup preferred, Central NY 13206)
Yellow high-rise spoiler. Salvage yard find, both rear-most bolt/mounting points are broken. Paint is fair - $20.
Rally Red low-rise spoiler. 3rd brake light wiring was clipped (sorry). Paint is flaking, one bolt/mounting point is broken - $10.
"EvoFusion" front strut bar. Very strong/solid design. I have upgraded it with thicker grade 8 hardware. Could use a paint job. - $30 (both strut bars for $50).
"ARK" rear strut bar. Also upgraded with thicker grade 8 hardware. - $30 (both strut bars for $50).
Rear hatch/cargo cover. Salvage yard find, never used it personally. Good shape. - $15.

Re: Kel's big 2004 Rally Red (BMXuron) part-out

Continuing with large things...

"VFiber Originality" Rear widebody bumper. Part #R03HTMG . I found this locally but never ended up using it. $30.

VIS "Cyber" carbon fiber hood. Currently wrapped in "Carmine Red" Avery vinyl. I bought this used locally and it was painted black/poorly clearcoated at the time. I carefully sanded down those layers but the gel clearcoating came with it. I think it can be restored/re-cleared with some time and effort. I have someone interested but would let go for $40.

All that's left are things currently on the car that I will eventually sell when it's off the road. This includes everything, from the super shorty radio antenna to the BCM with updated turn-signal relay. I'll provide a few various pics of my car and list some obvious items for sale, if you have interest in anything not mentioned please let me know.

Random list of installed parts:

Kel's custom "super-straight" intake. My very recently made custom intake with thick aluminum tubing, very nice quality couplers w/clamps, plus an optional K&N washable filter. Everything in this kit is very new with low miles. This cost me well over $100 to make. Yours for $50 without filter, $70 with filter.

Ark light-weight Mega Force Pulley for power steering. Bought very lightly used, I have only put about 10k miles on it. Still like-new - $25.

Amazon license plate relocation bracket (not the "Tiburon" plate). Nice and sturdy, - $10.

05/06 FL1 headlights WIRED FOR 2003 OR 2004. Salvage yard find that I spent a lot of time restoring and swapping wires for use with my 2004. They could use a buff but still very clean and clear. $60 for both.

Red stitched/leather door card inserts. Good shape and you'll know that I love you if I remove them for you. $25 for both includes my pain and suffering during removal.

OEM Passenger cupholder, also in great working shape. I would have to say the same as my comment above for this. $30.

Intake manifold painted "oil rubbed bronze". This was completely cleaned out and painted about 10k miles ago. I would love to see someone turn it into a project, or use as-is. $40+shipping (very heavy)

Shark Racing phenolic intake manifold spacer. Only about 10k miles on this as well. Keeps the intake cool and reduces heat soak! $25.

OBX exhaust header with primary O2 bung. About 25k miles? Still in good shape. $50. (ask about other exhaust parts)

20mm wheel adapters/spacers. Hub centric where they mount to hub. Used for about 15k miles. Cost me $120 on Amazon, yours for $50 w/hardware.

NGK Blue plug wires - used for about 30k, still in great condition. $20.

Eibach Sportline lowering springs (1.6" drop). Purchased used, mileage unknown. I've used them for about 15k miles. They feel great, very sporty, perfect for a low look without giving up too much ride comfort (they are a bit stiff). Pics coming soon, currently mounted on struts which may be going bad. Considering dismounting them to save on shipping. Waiting on interest... $40+shipping takes all 4, with or without the struts.

If interested in anything else, please ask, thanks!

**Hella horns, aluminum shift knob, JVC head unit and subwoofer are not for sale, sorry.**

I’ll take the trailing arms and the cup holder when you get it out. Are the rear seatbelts from your car or a junker? Any idea of mileage on them?

Interested in the hood, what sort of freight cost would be on there? All the hoods near me are 3 x that price and I am doing a restore so that is a great price. Also the MAF would be sweet to grab from ya.
Also interested in both the strut strut arms and the trailing arms if possible. Let's chat.

Filling at least a state (for US) or Provence/country helps out.

Example, you can buy fender inner liners for cheap off RockAuto, shipping is likely MORE than the part.
Bumper covers, hoods, etc. are big and bulky, thus "pay through the nose" on almost any shipping.

I still say, shipping on big/bulky parts is expensive. Not counting packaging and possibly insurance, it's expensive.
As stated, an inner fender liner on many cars, almost no weight, but bulky even if rolled up. Shipping can be more than the parts cost.
Just the way it is........

Hey there, unfortunately shipping would be insane, I'm getting rates around $60 for them just to ship around the U.S., based on their dimensions. Thank you though for the kind words, I'm sad to see it end this way.

Thanks for the interest, as Charlie mentioned due to the size of a hood shipping would cost hundreds of dollars... not to mention the risk of something crushing it in such a large, flat box. You're first in line for the MAF, I would do $20 shipped. The strut bars have many people in line and there is one person ahead of you for the trailing arms... PM me if you're still interested, thanks!

Hey, thanks for your interest but many people are in line for the strut bars. I'll keep you in the loop if things fall through, thanks.

Thanks everyone for your patience, I'm shocked at how much attention this post has had and I'm doing my best to juggle things and keep everyone's interests in order. I've answered all PMs (as far as I know!) Thanks again!

Shipping to you is likely more than the parts price.......strut bars add in length. Shipping goes by "cube size" (thus bulky light stuff is expensive to ship, like inner fender liners), long things also add to cube size.
Sorta cheap to ship is a chunk of lead, expensive is a large bag of packing peanuts (bulky, not much weight, can't stack on top of....).
Yes, I used to deal with shipping a lot, even "in country" cube size can get expensive.
Overseas, you're likely looking at DHL for shipping.
You may also get into tariffs, handling, etc........ I went through that for a CF hood on my Subaru from Canada to the US.
Shipping, handling, tariffs, etc. came out to close to the hood price......then the shipper stepped on the middle of the box and broke the hood.
