History
I purchased this Tiburon for $1000 in the summer of 2017. It was in pretty rough shape, and so I have been slowly trying to bring the car up to an acceptable quality for day-to-day driving and eventually an EV conversion.

It seemed to have the original transmission and clutch; it came on dry-rotting tires with the white alloy 17 inch rims, and it had a huge dent on the passenger side rear quarter panel that was just cosmetic damage.

The body has lots of rust, and since the car seemed to be a locally-owned car to where I live, I assume that the brine sprayed on the road is what has caused the majority of the rust.

The inside of the car looked like it never saw a carwash, and the seats needed conditioning badly. The exterior has a severely peeling clear coat with chips and dings leading to rust all over the vehicle.
