I originally bought this car when I was 18. I moved out and got a job in Minneapolis and felt like I was making bank, so I figured I'd buy a nice car. Being a stupid kid, I never did any insurance quotes or any budgeting to figure out if I could actually afford this vehicle. Not very surprisingly, I was struggling hard to make the loan and insurance payments. Regardless, I continued to drive recklessly and eventually got so many speeding tickets that they suspended my license and my insurance rates reached a peak 6-month premium of just over $6000. On top of this, not being able to drive, I lost my job. These circumstances forced me to move back in with my parents, barely a year after moving out. My dad graciously took the car and adopted the payments for the loan, so it never got repossessed (of course, I was never allowed to drive it).
Now, just over 3 years later, I am very much back on my feet, having not only gotten my license back but having a wonderful job and living on my own with my girlfriend in Apple Valley. To celebrate my success and lessons learned, I bought my beloved Tiburon back from my father. I plan to get a tattoo in the next month or so to remind me of all of this. The tattoo will be the face of my Tiburon in the background, and in the foreground, the words "Live Fast, Live Loud" and then in smaller print underneath, "But don't blow the speakers." I just have to perfect the art and then I will get it done.)

I painted my calipers red (they come unpainted).
