History
I bought this car on September 11, 2008. Over time, I have added additional electronics to the car. This car has been the most reliable car I have ever owned and the car now has around 140,000 miles on it.

I never thought very much about the car's performance. Though it did its job well, it seemed like an average car. However, I just recently replaced the tires that I had with new Kumho Sense KR26 tires, and I also changed the rims from the 21ish pound steel wheels that come with the car stock to lighter weight Sport Edition A10 wheels. Wow! What a difference! The car feels significantly more agile. I then remembered what I read on the Elantra forums about the XD/XD2 chassis Elantras being surprisingly capable handlers after suspension upgrades.

After I got a taste of what this car might be able to do, I started purchasing mods for it. I have purchased Sensen struts, A Tiburon 18mm sway bar, H & R springs, and Brakemotive rotors. I will update this when I get these parts installed.

After I installed these parts, I once again noticed a large difference in the way the car handled. The car feels more confident in every driving task than before. I also had the car painted Granite Silver at MAACO Pensacola (It was originally Nordic White).
