i remember seeing a DIY of it. Search posts made by a member named grasshopper. i think he made a diy or explained how to do it and posted pics of his setup a while back.
It's very easy. I put a Polk 10" Momo in the stock box. Enlarge the nounting hole. Drill the new holes for the screws. Run the wire thru the gromet in the bac.
i put an audiobahn (sp) in there. I'm impressed with how it sounds. I have it powered by an external amp and its enough base to keep me happy. Not sure a video would do it justice...but the car sounds really clean inside. I'm just happy I have my trunk back again.
I have anothe 10" if anyone in So. Cal wants to do this....I'll help.
I put a 12" audiobahn in mine 2 years ago. It was a shallow mount and fit, but even though the space was enough for the sub rating, it didn't sound as good as it should.
Rockford Fosgate HE2 10" in mine and I think it's perfect. All the people who hear my car think it sounds great and are amazed a little woofer in the stock box makes that much bass. It is powered by a Rockford Fosgate Punch 300.6
