Is that the only problem? I feel like a computer is an easy fix not worth selling the car for. Ive not heard of a computer going bad in one of these. Not saying it isnt the case, but im fairly certain you can swap computers with another from the junk yard. They arent that expensive.
I just think its a pretty car to let go from something too easy to try first.
Just looked it up. They are $50-100 from the junk yard...
Remember, you don't need a 2004 ECU specifically. You can use any of the 2004-2008 ECUs as long as it comes from the same engine and transmission type and it's a US Spec car without the immobilizer. That means any US spec automatic 5WY17, 5WY18 or 5WY1F model ECU from mid 2003-2008. If you need more information on identifying ECUs I have an identification guide here:
