Hey guys, I recently bought a 2005 Tiburon with some smaller issues that I’ve been trying to fix by myself with help from forums and such but I’ve hit a wall with a fog light issue.
So when I bought the car the fog lights didn’t work so I ordered 2 LED ones and changed the old ones but only the left one turns on but the one on the right does not turn on at all. Tried swapping the bulbs and checking that they were inserted properly but it still won’t turn on. I was also looking at what the problem might be in different forums but didn’t find anything relevant to my case, just general issues with fuses and wiring but it was related for when both fog lights did not work.
I’m trying to fix the issue without having to change the whole fog light or taking it to a mechanic since I have a limited budget to fix everything before the month of June is over so any tips or ideas are highly appreciated ◡̈

Any time you're dealing with LEDs, polarity matters. You test the light by connecting it straight to the battery (preferably through some kind of fuse), or a 12 volt bench power supply.
If the LED bulb doesn't light up.. dead bulb. If it does light up, trace the wiring, there's probably a break in a cable somewhere. A multimeter set to continuity can help you trace through a circuit relatively quickly. Check the grounding; the ground side for whatever reason often goes bad in these sorts of circuits. There are shop manuals for the Tiburon available online that can help (electrical system being one of those).
