For those of you who have an '06 and don't mind sharing, how much did you get it for, and what are your monthly payments? I'm just trying to get a ball park figure of what to expect. Thanks. :3_smile:

Never. it really depends on your down payment, interest rate, etc. I paid like 350 something a month with 7% interest and a 10k cash down payment

I lost $1500 on my Elantra trade-in. I have an auto I-4 Tiburon, and with the six year term and 8.9% interest rate I got, it came to $325 a month. Similar payment for a five year term would be somewhere around $372.

All in all I ended up getting the car for just over sticker.

quick math (ex-car sales manager)

165-200 a month for every 10K you finance for roughly 60 months (average term)

interest rate and if you go longer in term will determine exactly how much

Got my '06 Tuscani 6spd with leather for $24 000 CAD. This is after they knocked off $4000 (manufacturers allotted incentive) and $500 new graduate rebate. Then i went nuts and bough rim protection, paint & leather protection and extended my warranty. $30 000 when all was said and done. That works out to $415 / month (bi-weekly payments) for 5 yrs with $2500 down

Man, some of you have a pretty steep payment! I don't mind shelling out $300ish per month. I mean, I think I can expect that with a brand new car. But I really don't like the idea of having a car payment in the $400 range. Maybe I'll have to put several grand on a down payment in order to keep it in the $300 range.

i got my 06 GT Manual for $18k even but with the service agreement and extended warrantee (and i'm about to cancel both soon) also with a $1500 downpayment at 4.25% interest i'm paying like $371 a month for 60 months. i'm actually thinking of trading it in for something else thats not as high on payments since i'll be goin off to school in march. do'nt want to but i might need to get practicle about it.
