How are you not a fan of carbon fiber hoods!? Carbon fiber is God's gift to the engineer. It's superior to aluminum steel cast iron plastic glass absolutely anything. And if you want people to think it's regular sheet metal just paint it like the rest of the car. Carbon fiber is awesome and anything made out of it is better than not being made out of it.
