*** SoCal NT Meet-n-Greet & Beach BBQ Meet !! ***

** What: Meet-and-Greet and Chill-Out & Eat at the Beach~!! **

** For who: SoCal Tiburon Enthusiasts + friends/family~! **

** Why: Meet your fellow Tib owners, socialize and get to know each other, check out others' rides for ideas and inspiration, and enjoy the camaraderie from dining & swimming together~! **

** When: Sunday, August 25th, 2013~!! **

@ 11:00 AM

The beach BBQ will start around 12:30PM to 1PM. Be sure to get here early to get some Korean BBQ~!!...and to find parking for your car~!!

** Where:

Huntington City Beach

Parking entrance is at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway & Huntington Street. You may also enter from the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Beach Blvd.

Food (e.g., hamburger patties, buns, hot dogs, ketchup, salad, chips, dips)

Thx for waiting, you guys~! As you know, I haven't been organizing any meets lately.

But, I MISS you guys~! So let's get together~!! I wanna see all those beautiful Tibs~! There's certainly not many of us left anymore on the road - we are a rare breed these days.

My name should be in purple too, You know you can put me down already David . I will bring the usual stuff I bring. EZ up shade canopy, BBQ & bbq tools & charcoal and lighter fluid , table, ice chest & ice.
Hopefully we will get people from the group to start letting you know what they will bring so we can check off what we might still need by that weekend so we can make sure we have a good meet. That way we can also see how many people will actually participate.

Joe went back home that day with just some chips in his stomach.

This time I don't work the night before without any sleep so I should be good. I plan on showing up early to help get set up. Last time it wasn't fun for me cause I had to dump all the stuff out and drive a mile down the road and hike back to the beach and didn't really get to eat, and missed Joe cause he had to leave for work. So I promise that isn't going to happen again as it wasn't much fun for me.

thanks david. im ok at organizing, but you have this down pat. i only threw that post up so we could get something rolling. i have the 25th off so i am good to go. the only thing i would have changed was the location. HB has been really sketchy lately, and the cops are rolling around en masse, and the 2 times i had to drive thru HB over the past 7 days i got pulled over for a "safety check" just saying if you want a place that has a hell of a view and very similar accomodations for parking and really safe, and has private beach entrance, let me know. laguna isnt that far from HB and the backdrop is nicer. im going surfing there tomorrow so ill shoot you some pics.

im down for bringing meat, beers and sodas. any preferences to beers and sodas? if not im bringing coronas, coors, pepsi, 7 up and orange soda. ill probably bring a costco sized thing of hot dogs and buns to supplement.

also i invited a couple friends along. you may know nelson rios and his sexy bimmer. i know this is a KDM meet but hes a cool dude and appreciates us kimchi rocket drivers just the same.

I'll be driving down from Corona...probably taking the mazda 6. HB has had a high police presence since the mini-riot, but if you get there early enough....it should be fine. No alcohol. They've been patroling the beach hard, even down to Bolsa, and car meets shouldn't have alcohol anyhow. /adultspeech

I'll be heading your way on the 10 to the 57 since I avoid the 91 like the plague. We can meet up early in Pomona and roll down through the OC.
