Parts included:

1. 3port catch can
2. CAI that has no nipple

----------

What I don't want to do:
VENT TO ATMOSPHERE

What do you think of that setup? Anybody running something simillar?

I'm worried aboud WOT as then intake manifold in not a vacuum source..

Your basically disabling pcv with that set up. If you want a can get a small mishimoto sealed can and put it on the pcv line. Leave the breather where its supposed to go.

Thanks a lot DMdicks for tuning in! :smile2:

The thing is that I ordered a CAI with no nipple for breather. Also I ordered a catch can and it is sealed & baffled Mishimoto 3-port.

As I see this:

1. In idle and low throttle, the manifold would be sucking gases from breather instead of PCV as PCV has some resistence and breather doesn't
2. In WOT, intake manifold is not vacuum source and PCV is closed i guess? So pressure is escaping trough breather once again...

Do you think I can try this setup or will I blow something?

A properly functioning pcv system needs a fresh filtered air intake from the breather port and a closed loop connection for the PCV. Run a hose from breather port to a small plug in filter and cap one of the can ports for the pcv side.
