Hi crew,

I'm in a possition to get myself ISL LED Tail Lights but have 2 questions:

1. Do I have to connect the resistor to have normal blinker rate or they come with one integrated?
2. Would they fit 2003/2004 model without body modiffication?
3. How hard is it to repair weak or dead LEDs inside? I presume light has to be opened for that?

For thos who don't know, ISL tails are this:

135048
135049

From 03+ there are ways to make the taillights fit. You may need a spacer if these lights were intended for 07/08 though.
As for fixing a bad led in there, I would be careful with opening aftermarket parts because they are built CHEAP. I tried this before on some aftermarket tails and the plastic and weather stripping were so cheap they cracked or just feel apart and were beyond repair. Headlights are a little more robust and customizing even aftermarket ones worked for me. Maybe if the tails are like new you may be able to take th apart and fix/reseal, but be careful and don’t spend too much on used stuff.
