Anyone using a JVC KDSHX850 or JVC KD-AR8500 headunit??

I'm currently in the market for a new headunit being that my Alpine 9815 just got stolen (along with my Sirius LCD display = useless receiver now). Yep, I just became a statistic...I'll be posting up a new thread about it in the morning (with pics) - too tired right now to upload all of the pics. But anyway, not to get off topic, has anyone used or is using the JVC KDSHX850 because I'm really liking what I've been reading about it. It's pretty new in the JVC line, so there really aren't too many reviews that I can find on the net. The main things that I like about it are it's styling, it's Sirius satellite ready (no need for two separate displays now), it's detachable, and it has a cool A$$ feature that lets you us an SD card to plug into it and play MP3s off of it! Not to mention that it still has all of the parametric equalizer and time correction options that my Alpine had, so it's really looking like I found my new headunit. So, with that said, please post up any and everything you've heard, good or bad, about this stereo because I just want to be sure it's the one I should get.

Here's a link showing all of it's features:

And here's another link with the only review I can find on it:

EDIT:

I just found out what the new model is that replaced the KD-SHX850 and that's the JVC KD-AR8500. It's pretty much the same until, but it comes with a few more options.

Here's a linke to some info on it as well:

Thanks!

I have a truck with a JVC Arsenal KD-AR960...basicaly the predicesor to the HU you are looking at. I LOVE IT! the quality out of it is amazing, the only issue i have had with it is the lack of a pause button. Other that that...a great unit!

Hey thanks for the reply! What I'd really like to find out, though, is how the JVC KD-AR8500 HU handles Sirius radio because if I could get away with just doing everything with one unit I'd feel a little bit safer...freaking car thieves.

Hey nice headunit...I was looking at the newer version of the this one as well (the KD-AVX2), but it doesn't have the 3 band parametric eq and time correction that the KD-AR8500 has. I'd really like to have these features, but I'm still keeping an open mind. I'm really interested in how either of these headunits work with Sirius (as far as the interface) because that is a really important factor to me. So, with that said, do you have any insight or pictures of your unit with Sirius on the screen? Thanks!
