i am now loking to tune my car.

i currently have four options in my price range

just buy a neo and try it my self

a could buy the handheld ngm obd II tuner thing

i could do a n/a tune thing from ngm

or a rev raiser

i was to get a tune for the following mods

i/h/e/motor mounts/stg 4 manifold/ngk plugs/ wires/tri flo bbtb

and a few more preformance mods

what i want out of it all is a raised rev limitor to 7200 and over 200 whp

ngm's n/a tune is tuned for cams stage 4 i/h/e and tri flo tb. so i am missing cams i do not want cams, would this method still let me hit 200 because i have plugs wires and motor mounts ??

and is a neo really the eaisest way? i would then have to get a a/f gauge for over 400 so i kinda want to stay away from that

thanks for help

Well the easiest way would be to buy a Reflashed ECU and be done with it, BUT if you have future mods that would be the bad route.

The second option would be something like the NEO, AEM FIC, Perfect Power SMT-6.

The wiring sucks, but that would be the best DIY way of tuning.

As far as rasing the rev limiter, as far as I knew the only way to raise it was a reflash.

For a tuning newb I would just go with a reflash. This will be the only way to raise your rev limit. Then later on you can get a piggyback ECU to fine tune things.
