That's actually the old oil cooler which is full of shrapnel from when i grenaded the engine.
These things are fairly cheap so i've ordered a new one rather than risk cleaning it out and potentially missing a bit...

Wow, my absolute respect to that work!
It looks like you removed your idle air control?
You get that done by the electric trottle body?
Why do you take the oem intake manifold?
The Mishimoto Radiator is nice, mine arrived also today.
The radiator fan Shroud you mounted, does it fit plug and play on the radiator?
What shrout is it?
Couldn't find it on the mishimoto site

Also can you name your sources for all those bushings?
I can get some of BRD, but not all of them.

Well I have some track day vouchers from last year which i'm hoping to use fairly soon. I'm thinking of booking a day at my local track, kind of as a shake down so i can get the tune dialled in etc before going all out.

Yep, IAC valve deleted... The idle speed is controlled via the closed loop e-throttle map on the Link G4+

With regards to the intake manifold, i've ported the throttle body intake side and also the inside of the runners to free things up a bit...

The fan shroud is a Mishimoto from a Dodge Neon (2005). I had to modify the mounting brackets as unfortunately they don't make one for the Hyundai.

I'll gather the part numbers for the bushes... Most of them are SuperPro... The engine mounts, subframe mounts and ARB bushes are all from BRD.

Subframe on, ps rack fitted, knuckles / wishbones reinstalled along with the Ultra Racing support brace.

Minor problem.... My shaft is too large!

I was hoping to use the AtelierHP clutch conversion kit but the input shaft i'm running has a larger spline so the bearing retainer doesn't fit

Rather than an old skool clutch fork i'm thinking of going with a hydraulic release bearing from ClutchMasters...

Hopefully i can get the inside of the bearing carrier enlarged and the mounting plate adapted... I'll see what i can get fabbed up next week.

For the time being it's great to have the engine back in the car. At the moment I have the engine mounted using an old bell housing from one of the many gearboxes i've blown up

Whilst i remember, I chickened out on the original clutch setup. It was just a little hardcore for me...

I decided to swap 1x ceramic disc with an organic fibre disc instead... Hopefully this will give a little street friendliness...
